Overview

Influence refers to your faction's undisputed (outside war) territory, i.e. the colored borders around your star systems.

In Disharmony: Systems inside these colored borders get about 50% reduction in expansion disapproval (exact amount depends on difficulty setting). Outposts inside the sphere of influence of your other systems also get this benefit.

Generating influence

Base influence radius is equal to

Own Empire influence

• Expansion disapproval.
• Can pass through.
• x1.0 production.
• Certain benefits are provided only on your own empire's Influence.

Ally Empire influence

• No expansion disapproval.
• Can pass through.
• x0.5 production.

Neutral Empire influence

• No expansion disapproval.
• Requires Open Borders to pass through.
• x0.5 production.

Enemy Empire influence

• No expansion disapproval.
• Requires war to pass through.
• x0.25 production.
